GH 8

Hydrostatic all purpose flail.

The Grillo GH8 is a mulcher with hydro-static transmission, ideal for cleaning rustic areas, cutting tall grass, shrubs or pruning residues, even on slopes.
It is equipped with a Loncin G200FA engine, single-cylinder, petrol, 196 cc, 5.5 HP.
The 4.00-8 pneumatic wheels have tractor treads.
Because of its compact dimensions and perfect weight distribution, the Grillo GH8 is maneuverable in all working conditions, in agriculture and in professional and private green maintenance.

All controls are comfortably positioned and the handlebar is equipped with dampers.
The transmission is hydro-static and the forward speed ranges from 0 to 6 km/h continuously variable, the reverse gear from 0 to 3 km/h.
The handlebar can be adjusted in height and moved sideways to meet all requirements and to work easily even near low branches or obstacles.
The parking brake is pedal-operated.

The Grillo GH 8 can be equipped with two mulchers with a working width of 58 and 68 cm. They are equipped with a rotor with 14 and 16 pairs of 'Y' shaped blades respectively, capable of mulching leaves, pruning branches, plant residues, and crop waste.
The control is located on the body of the mulcher.
The cutting mouth of the mulchers is equipped with pivoting rubber blades to prevent the throwing of residues.
In addition, they are equipped with a removable support to keep the machine raised and stable so that maintenance of the mulcher's inner chamber is easy.

Because of the flange and power take-off with 3-tine coupling, it is also possible to use a variety of implements, making the Grillo GH8 an extremely versatile machine.
The attachments available are a 100 cm swiveling and tilting brush, a 132 cm twin-blade cutter bar and a 100 cm swiveling blade.
To make changing attachments on the GH8 quicker, the optional quick hitch can be used.

The painting of Grillo machines is a double-layer electrostatic powder coating. First there are the washing and preparation baths, then a first protective layer is applied which, with baking in the oven, is the best base for the finishing application. The second layer of paint and a further baking in the oven at 190°c give the characteristic hardness and gloss.
All machines are meticulously assembled and thoroughly tested by specialized personnel. In addition, all functions are checked in the final test. A further and final guarantee for a high quality product.

Grillo products are distributed and serviced extensively by Grillo's network of specialist dealers. Spare parts are available even after many years.

The central middle-cut toothed DOUBLE-BLADE CUTTING BAR PRO is equipped with two balancing, counter-moving cutter blades to reduce vibrations to the minimum and ensure maximum comfort for the operator.
It is a professional cutter bar suitable for any kind of grass, the perfect solution to avoid clogging. This cutting bar can be used to cut hay, to clean up rough pastures, orchards and to maintain green areas where it is fundamental to have a low environmental impact to preserve biodiversity. Both the high-quality steel and the self-adjustable blade holders ensure excellent quality of work.

The conveyor, made from shock-proof polypropylene, is oscillating and mounted on anti-vibration rubbers; this feature, combined with its special profile, allows the cutter bar to discharge grass under the most demanding working conditions, reducing clogging and making work more efficient.

The oil-bath movement reduces wear, does not need any special maintenance and offers a durable service life.

The adjustable support skids (a standard feature) allows the operator to easily choose the cutting height.

The steel blade holders are self-adjustable, their function is to set aside any free-play between the cutter bar and its movement. No adjustment needed.
The side protectors (also a standard feature) avoid damage to the cutter bar, should a solid item be encountered.

The cutter bar coupling is made of steel and it is easily adjusted via two plates, to clear free-play between the movement and the cutter bar.

The cutter bar teeth are jagged to ensure a durable service life and reduce wear; these alloy-steel teeth are manufactured by “Busatis Austria” and are subjected to special heat treatment.

Brushes are applied on the front of Grillo walking tractors.
They are equipped with a 400 mm diameter roller with polypropylene spatula.
It is ideal to put aside fresh snow and to clean up sideways, roads, cycle paths, avenues and parking lots.
The gear transmission is in oil-bath.
A lever is comfortably operated from the driver's position to quickly incline the brush up to 25° towards right or left.
The brush is also equipped with height-adjustable, pivoting support wheels to suit any working condition.
Grillo brushes do not damage nor scratch the areas where they are used thanks to their highly-resistant and flexible spatula.
